1. Pretreatment Process
Welding Rod Drying: 150°C for 1 hour (200°C for 2 hours in a humid environment). After drying, store in an 80-100°C heat preservation container.
Workpiece Cleaning: Remove surface oil and thick rust. Maintain a 60°±5° angle for groove welding, with a gap of 2-4mm.
2. Parameter Settings
Current Matching: 3.2mm corresponds to 140-180A, 4.0mm corresponds to 180-240A, 5.0mm corresponds to 240-320A, and 6.0mm corresponds to 320-400A.
Speed Control: 8-15cm/min, adjusted according to weld pool fluidity. Layered welding is recommended for thick plates.
3. Special Working Conditions
Low Temperature Environment (<0°C): Preheat the workpiece to 80-120°C.
Thick Steel Plates (≥25mm): Use multi-pass welding, maintaining a temperature of 150-200°C between passes.
