E6010

The e6010 is a premium cellulose-based welding rod that complies with AWS A5.1 standards. It features a high-quality mild steel core and a special coating containing at least 30% cellulose, offering strong oxidizing properties. Available in diameters of 2.5mm, 3.2mm, 4.0mm, and 5.0mm, and lengths of 300mm and 350mm, the e6010 comes in 20kg boxes (approximately 80-120 pieces, depending on diameter). Designed for welding high-strength mild steel and low-alloy steel, it supports all-position welding (especially vertical downward welding). ISO9001 quality system certification ensures weld metal complies with ANSI/ASME BPVC standards. The product is sealed and should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated environment. It has a shelf life of 12 months and should be used within 48 hours of opening.

The weld metal exhibits excellent plasticity and toughness, resulting in excellent crack resistance. It is not susceptible to cracking during and after welding, making it suitable for welding various high-strength steels.

Operability:

 The coating of the welding rod is easy to fall off, the slag removal is good, the weld is beautiful, and the welding operation is simple. Even welders with relatively little experience can quickly master the welding skills.

1. Welding Current Selection: Select the appropriate welding current based on the electrode diameter. Specific references are as follows:

• 2.5mm diameter: Recommended current 70-100A
• 3.2mm diameter: Recommended current 100-140A
• 4.0mm diameter: Recommended current 140-180A
• 5.0mm diameter: Recommended current 180-220A

2. Welding Speed: The welding speed should be moderate, generally controlled at 5-10cm/min. A speed too high will result in poor weld formation, while a speed too low will increase the heat-affected zone, affecting weld quality.
3. Welding Position: Various welding positions are available, including flat welding, vertical welding, and horizontal welding. Select the appropriate position based on the specific welding scenario.

• Pipeline welding: Suitable for welding various pipelines, including those for oil, natural gas, and water, meeting the high-strength and high-tightness requirements of pipeline welding.
• Structural welding: Suitable for welding structures in construction, bridges, and machinery manufacturing, such as steel frames, bridge load-bearing structures, and machinery bases.
• Pressure vessel welding: Suitable for welding various pressure vessels, such as boilers and storage tanks, ensuring their safe operation.
