Primary Drying (for Undampened Electrodes)

Loading: Place the electrodes evenly in the drying basket. The stacking height should not exceed 2/3 of the basket height, and leave a 5-10mm gap between electrodes to ensure hot air circulation.

Heating Procedure:

Close the door of the drying oven and set the heating rate to ≤ 100℃/h (to prevent the coating from cracking due to sudden heating).

Target Temperature: 350-400℃ (adjust slightly according to the electrode brand; 350-380℃ is recommended for domestic electrodes, and 380-400℃ for imported electrodes).

Soaking Time: After reaching the target temperature, maintain the temperature for 1-2 hours (1 hour for electrodes with diameter ≤ 4.0mm, and 1.5-2 hours for electrodes with diameter ≥ 5.0mm).

Notes: Do not open the oven door frequently during drying. If observation is needed, use the observation window to avoid sudden temperature drop.
