Check whether the electrode packaging is intact. For unopened electrodes, confirm the production date (electrodes stored for more than 6 months after production require enhanced drying).
After unpacking, inspect the electrode coating: a normal coating should be dry, hard, and free of cracks, with a smooth feel. If the coating is damp (sticky surface), has white frost, or cracks, mark it as "damp electrode" and handle it separately.
The diameter of the electrodes should match the size of the drying basket to avoid excessive stacking that affects heat circulation.
