Application Scenarios and Base Materials

Welding Positions: Restricted to flat position welding and horizontal fillet welding; not applicable for all-position welding such as vertical welding or overhead welding.

Base Metal Range: Suitable for low-carbon steel (e.g., Q235), low-alloy steel (e.g., Q345), and 490 MPa-grade high-strength steel. It is commonly used in shipbuilding, bridge structures, and welding of construction H-beams.

Typical Applications:

Fillet welds for ship decks and cabin structures

Flat-position connections of bridge truss joints

Thick-plate splicing for heavy machinery bases
