Introduction
a.Satinless Steel Welding Electrode E310-16 deposited metal is a stable austenite structure containing 25Cr-20Ni.It has excellent corrosion-resistibility and heat -resistibility and it shows satisfactory toughness and especially suitable for welding structures with low hardness which can't be preheated or postheated.
b.Both AC and DC can be applied. Satinless Steel Welding Electrode E310-16 can be used for all position welding with excellent performance:stable arc,small spatters,good appearance of weld.And also the welding electrode shows good heat-resistance character,not easy to turn red.

Usage Guidelines
(I) Preparation before welding
The welding rod needs to be baked at 300-350℃ for 1 hour to remove moisture from the welding rod, avoid defects such as pores during welding, and ensure welding quality.
Carefully clean the oil, rust, moisture and other impurities on the welding part of the parent material to ensure the cleanliness of the welding surface, provide good conditions for the welding process, and prevent impurities from mixing into the weld and affecting the welding performance.
(II) Selection of welding parameters
It is recommended to use DC reverse connection (DC+) to obtain better arc stability and penetration control. However, if AC power is used, welding can also be normal. Users can flexibly choose according to actual conditions.
The welding current should be reasonably selected according to the electrode diameter. Generally, for 2.0mm diameter electrodes, the welding current is 25-50A; for 2.5mm diameter electrodes, the current is 50-80A; for 3.2mm diameter electrodes, the current is 80-110A; for 4.0mm diameter electrodes, the current is 110-160A; for 5.0mm diameter electrodes, the current is 160-200A. In actual operation, the current can be adjusted appropriately according to factors such as the thickness of the weldment and the welding position to achieve the best welding effect.
It is recommended to use low current and short arc operation during welding, and the swing width should not exceed 2.5 times the diameter of the electrode core. This helps to control the molten pool temperature, reduce the width of the heat-affected zone, prevent the weld metal from overheating and causing the deterioration of the microstructure and properties, and better ensure the quality of the weld formation.
