Compared to standard 316L welding electrodes on the market, our E316L-16 welding electrodes benefit from nine generations of formula optimization, exhibiting superior stability under harsh working conditions:

1. Superior corrosion resistance: The ultra-low carbon formula effectively inhibits the precipitation of intergranular carbides; the weld has passed the sulfuric acid-copper sulfate intergranular corrosion test with a 100% pass rate, making it suitable for long-term contact with corrosive media such as dilute sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and acetic acid.
2. Excellent welding performance: The specially formulated titanium-calcium type flux coating ensures extremely high arc stability, with a spatter rate of less than 1%, and the resulting slag is thin and easy to remove; even welders with average experience can easily produce smooth, beautiful, silvery-white weld beads without the need for post-weld grinding.
3. Excellent low-temperature performance: The ferrite content in the weld metal is controlled below 0.5%, avoiding the low-temperature embrittlement problem common in ordinary stainless steel welds, and maintaining stable impact toughness even at -196°C.
4. Low crack sensitivity: The optimized alloy element ratio reduces the tendency of weld hot cracking, ensuring good crack resistance even when welding thick plates or under high restraint conditions.
5. Long shelf life: The coating uses a high-strength, moisture-resistant adhesive, which can maintain stable performance for up to three years under dry storage conditions, without peeling or performance degradation.

We provide full-process technical support to help you avoid common welding defects:

1. ‌Electrode pre-treatment‌: Bake the electrode at 200-250°C for 1 hour before welding, and store it in a 100-120°C heat preservation barrel after taking it out, take as much as you use each time, to prevent the coating from absorbing moisture and causing pores or delayed cracks
2. ‌Workpiece pre-treatment‌: Completely remove oil, rust, oxide scale and other impurities within 20mm on both sides of the weld groove, use stainless steel wire brush to clean the groove after grinding, avoid carbon steel tools contaminating the weld area
3. ‌Welding operation‌: Use DC reverse connection, adopt small current, short arc, multi-layer multi-pass welding, control the interlayer temperature below 150°C, do not swing the electrode too wide, to avoid overheating of the weld and reducing corrosion resistance
4. ‌Post-weld treatment‌: For parts with high corrosion resistance requirements, it is recommended to carry out post-weld pickling and passivation treatment, to form a dense chromium-rich oxide film on the weld surface
