Electrode Angle: Maintain a 70°-80° angle with the welding direction. Use straight electrode travel or small-amplitude oscillation; avoid excessive lateral oscillation to prevent insufficient weld width.

Arc Striking and Extinguishing: When extinguishing the arc, pull it off slowly to avoid crater cracks. Thoroughly clean the slag at the joint; grind the arc-striking point if necessary to ensure good fusion.

Penetration Control: Due to its shallow penetration (approximately 2-3mm), it is suitable for welding plates with a thickness of ≥6mm. When welding thinner materials, reduce the current to prevent burn-through.
