Product Overview
HS221 (RBCuZn-A) flux-cored brass welding wire is a tin-containing copper-zinc alloy welding wire designed for brazing of copper, steel and nickel alloys. Its unique flux core formula ensures excellent welding process performance and weld quality. The melting point is about 900℃, the deposited metal has good fluidity, and has good strength and corrosion resistance. This welding wire is suitable for a variety of welding methods such as flame brazing, furnace brazing, induction brazing, etc. It can also be used for metal arc welding and inert gas shielded welding of copper and copper-nickel alloys. It is an ideal choice for refrigeration, plumbing, electrical and other industries.

Welding process guide
Preparation before welding
Workpiece cleaning:
Thoroughly remove oil, oxide, rust and other impurities in the welding area
Surface treatment can be performed with sandpaper, wire brush or special cleaning agent
Assembly gap is controlled at 0.05-0.2mm to ensure good solder filling
Wire preparation:
No need to dry, keep dry and use
Select welding wire of appropriate diameter according to joint thickness
Equipment preparation:
Flame brazing: oxygen-acetylene or propane torch, neutral flame or slightly carburized flame
TIG welding: equipped with argon protection system, purity ≥99.99%
MIG welding: use pure argon or argon + helium mixed gas protection
Operation precautions
- Preheating control:
Recommended preheating temperature: 300-400℃
Use local preheating Way to avoid overheating of the base material
- Welding parameters:
Flame brazing: torch distance from workpiece 5-10mm, moving speed 50-100mm/min
TIG welding: arc voltage 10-15V, welding speed 80-120mm/min
MIG welding: wire feeding speed 3-6m/min, shielding gas flow 15-25L/min
- Operation skills:
Maintain an angle of 30-45° between the welding wire and the workpiece to ensure good molten pool filling
Use continuous wire feeding to avoid interruption
Maintain a stable travel speed during welding to ensure uniform welds
- Post-weld treatment:
Natural cooling, avoid forced cooling
After welding, pickling can be performed to remove the surface oxide film
Annealing treatment is performed when necessary to eliminate welding stress
