Welding Requirements

 

  • Welding method:High-Quality Stainless Steel Welding Wire - Excellent Welding Performance is suitable for gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW). These two welding methods can provide the best control of the welding process and ensure that the weld has excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
  • Shielding gas: It is recommended to use 100% argon or a mixture of argon and 1%~3% oxygen as the shielding gas. The flow rate of the shielding gas should be controlled at 20-25 liters/minute. The appropriate flow rate can effectively protect the molten pool from atmospheric pollution and reduce the generation of defects such as pores.
  • Arc length: The arc length should generally be controlled at around 4-6 mm. Maintaining a suitable arc length is essential for a stable welding process. If the arc is too long, it will lead to insufficient coverage of the shielding gas, making the weld prone to defects such as pores; if the arc is too short, the wettability of the molten metal will deteriorate, resulting in insufficient fusion and poor weld formation. Reasonable arc length control can ensure stable heat input and excellent weld quality.
