Description:

AWS A5.7 ERCuSi-A is a silicon bronze welding wire containing 3% silicon and a small amount of manganese.Good plasticity, good mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and wear resistance after welding due to the addition of manganese. Good performance, good welding process performance, beautiful weld shape, less spatter, good arc stability. Good fluidity.

Characteristics:

The deposited metal contains 3% silicon and a small amount of manganese and tin or zinc. It mainly uses tungsten inert gas welding and gas shielded welding process to weld copper silicon, copper zinc metal, or their welding with steel. When gas shielded welding is used, small weld pool shall be maintained, and the layer temperature shall be lower than 65 ° C to prevent hot cracks. Narrow pass welding can reduce structural stress and accelerate weld cooling; when argon arc welding is used, it is better to maintain small weld pool welding, and preheating is not required.

Application:

For argon arc welding of silicon bronze, red copper, brass and aluminum bronze, and also for copper and cast iron .Argon arc welding and surfacing welding, copper and steel welding. For example, argon arc brazing of automobile door frame and motorcycle parts, overlay welding of friction surface of rolling stock and heavy machinery. Used for brazing galvanized steel plate.
