All steel tubes can be welded by gas welding, but the welding efficiency is lower and the cost is higher than manual arc welding. Gas welding is widely used for the maintenance of natural gas pipelines, water circulation systems, and small-diameter pipes. For the small-diameter steel pipe, it is not necessary to process the pipe end during welding. For a steel pipe with a diameter of less than 50 mm, only the end of the pipe can be processed flat.
