E7018 and E7018-1 in material, composition and performance are almost the same. E7018 is a low-carbon steel electrode with iron powder and low hydrogen coating, which can be used for all-position welding. Its characteristic is that the coating flux contains iron powder, and the weld deposition coefficient is relatively large, which can reduce the number of welding layers.
E7018-1 is a low-hydrogen potassium type low-carbon steel electrode, with good mechanical properties and crack resistance, AC and DC, can be all-position welding. When AC welding, its arc stability is slightly inferior to DC welding.
